About Kimoto
KIMOTO is a Tokyo based company, which was founded in 1952 to produce high quality photographic images. KIMOTO moved into the production of films suitable for design, drafting and lithographic plate-making before specialising in coating technology to produce high quality films for cartography and electronics manufacture.
KIMOTO has now grown to a company employing nearly 627 personnel in 12 locations in Japan, including head office, branch offices, sales offices, plants and a research institute, and overseas offices in the USA, China and Europe.
KIMOTO’s current offerings include media for ink jet plotters, functional films for the electronic industry; plates, equipment and consumables for the printing industry, and software and services for the Geographic Information Systems industry.
KIMOTO has always maintained its traditions of innovation in R&D and production technology. Since its establishment, it has endeavoured to serve and contribute to society through bringing excellent products to its customers. KIMOTO will continue to do its utmost to heighten customer satisfaction.
