Some, not all, of my customers who create documents in MS Publisher and then export them to PDF's before sending them to us, end up with a diagonal hairline through all their text and graphic boxes on the Kimoto plate. The same PDF's work fine on other output devices. The lines are only on plates produced by the Kimotosetter 340.

Other customers create PDF's from Publisher that do not cause this problem. Any ideas?

Thom: There are people who do not know how to "perfectly" create a PDF files that is why they have lines around text boxes. You cannot do anything about this except to go back to them and tell them to do it right. Or you can do it on your side with Adobe Professional version of PDF, but then for all the troubles they give you are they willing to "pay" for your time fixing the problem they created? Good luck.
