We do a fair amount of production on our Kimosetter 410. Up until now, the RIP software that came with the device has performed acceptably. However, recently we have been getting complaints of misprints from our production floor. It seems that some postscript is not rendering nor generating an error. (Were I expect an postscript generated image, is blank). Simply reprinting the same exact file, has worked to date. Has anyone seen this issue with the 1.0v1 RIP software and knows for a fact that it is corrected with the newer $$$ RIP software? Is the $$$ software worth the money when all we use it for is to print single color postscript documents generated from other sources?
