How long are plates normally supposed to last, my press operator has a hard time keeping them over 3000 impressions on an AB dick 9800. Is he using the wrong solutions or chemicals on the press?

You're lucky. Our plates are lucky to get 1,000 impressions and it's getting worse. We haven't changed anything. Still using the same inks and fountain solution as we always have.

I agree that 3M would be great. I only get about 1M per plate...sometimes a little more.

I have all the pressures as light as they can be, too.

Don't think I would have bought it if I had known run length was so short.
