We recently installed a Kimo 410, downloaded the software from the web-site and installed latest version of the postscript driver for Windows XP. The unit will not image fonts (postscript or truetype) that have been horizontally scaled in InDesign. Illustrator suport files containing scaled type placed into InDesign, either in native format or .eps also do not image properly. The software simply images the font in normal scale but runs all the characters together to fit the correct line length. Converting fonts to outlines before ripping file seems to help, but we don't always have the native files, so that isn't a perfect work-around. Anyone else see this disturbing display?

We too have this problem. Just getting by. Have had both a 340 and 410 in Windows XP with no occurences of this until we updated to Windows 7 64bit.
